Our Story

It started with a leash.

Every morning, I’d grab it from the hook — and my dog, Bailey, would come running.
But as the years went on, that changed. His steps slowed. The stairs got harder. One day, halfway through our walk, he just stopped. He looked up at me, tail low, eyes tired. I knew he still wanted to come — he just couldn’t keep up anymore.

So I started leaving him at home. I told myself it was kinder… less strain, more rest.
But every time I picked up the leash, he’d lift his head — hopeful — and then look away when I walked out the door.

That look stayed with me.

I searched everywhere for something that could let him be part of our world again — something safe, supportive, and actually comfortable. What I found were flimsy carriers, awkward straps, and unsafe designs that made both of us more anxious than before.

So I started designing my own.

I worked with behaviorists and pet ergonomics experts to understand why so many dogs struggle with separation and how we could safely recreate that feeling of closeness they crave.
The result was our first Furorra Sling — a vet-informed comfort carrier designed for connection, not confinement.

It’s built around one simple belief: dogs don’t just want to be carried — they want to belong.
Every feature — from the kangaroo pouch that mimic a safe den, to the Heartbeat Height position that keeps them close enough to feel your calm — was created to reduce anxiety and bring them peace.

Today, Furorra exists for every small, anxious, or aging dog who just wants to stay close — and every owner who refuses to leave them behind.

Because the truth is, they never stop wanting to be near us.
And we believe the kindest thing we can do… is keep them there.

Closer Is Kinder™.
